Personal Care

At SwingShift Nurses we recognised a long time ago just how important these areas of work would be both then and in the future.  As such we developed extra training programs for both PSA's and PCA's that would enable them to move confidently into more demanding roles as they develop.

Forensic

SwingShift Nurses has been supplying mental health and general nurses to forensic and prison services for many years now.  It's not unusual to find SwingShift Nurses totally staffing some areas at times.  Our staff have developed great skills in these frequently demanding and difficult areas.

Clinical Teaching

If you feel like a change and have a break from inpatient services then perhaps you should consider a period of clinical teaching.  Many of our nurses have tried and enjoyed their time supervising nursing students who are on clinical placement.  You don't require formal education qualifications so long as the supervision you are providing is in an area that is within your scope of practice.
